Batch management defined for certain plants but others not.

Hello,

I have a doubt.

If  batch-management is defined in the configuration at Material-level (Batch is unique at material level), can one still define that for a certain material, in Plant 0001 the material will be managed in batches,  but in plant 0002 without batches?  (As long as one does not mark the batch management indicator at client level in that material master!)

Please some advise.
