Thanks Arun,
This worked like a charm.
I have been able to successfully create a new node running at port 7000 now, and now I have two SIAs running in the same cluster.
But still I have the old SIA working with errors on the 4 core services.
What I want to do now is clear the mess in the database.
Following are the steps I want to do.
1) Separate the SAPDS and SAPDS_NEW clusters from each other, so that the new cluster can run independently of each other. Is this possible? Right now, I cannot login into CMC by using SAPDS_NEW:7000 as the system name by keeping SAPDS SIA stopped. I must keep SAPDS up and running.
2) Delete the SAPDS node (and the cluster too) completely.
3) Create a new node SAPDS again running at the same port 6400 but now under the cluster SAPDS_NEW.
4) Separate the SAPDS_NEW and SAPDS clusters.
5) Delete SAPDS_NEW node completely.
By this way I think I can restore the old CMS in a working condition.
Is this a correct way to do it?
Thanks,
Bhupendra
